Re: Knockhill - May 1st 2010
After i bounced off the floor at donnington, it took me another day to get any confidence back at all.
1.02 is a good time round knockhill, so you cant be that far away.

My best is 60.9, and that was on BT016s, but as you say it takes a while to get your head back round it.

Re: Knockhill - May 1st 2010
As it turned out it was basically dry all day, just damp on the way there.
It might be quite a while before I can get back there the way finances are, but I'm hoping to sort something out.

I would have gone if I were booked on but to sit and watch when it's raining I thought better of it

Looks so easy when watching a video. Sitting watching and telling my self, "I just need to do that, do this and bingo", if only

Re: Knockhill - May 1st 2010
Yes I figured it was you with the camara, just didn't think you were on your RRX
Your better off on a 600cc at Knockhill as it's sooooo short and twisty a track, but saying that, i'm sure you'll get under the 1min soon enough Stop looking at the bridge as your braking/shutting off point, look at the next marker on the left hand side about another 50yrs past the bridge.
Same with shutting off before the hair pin!!! shut off/brake as you hit the bump for the slip road "that's your marker".
Jesus the way i'm going on you'd think i know what i'm talking about do what you feel is right and enjoy yourself.
by the way; my track bike hasn't seen Knockhill for 2yrs now so you can tell me to shut it

Re: Knockhill - May 1st 2010
I know I need to brake later, especially at the hairpin.
Duffus is odd. I'm obviously braking earlier than some, but equally I seem to carry a lot more speed into it than most. I can see loads of places I'm slow on the video, it's convincing myself I can be faster while I'm out there that's hard.
