New paint?
I was going to paint the blade the same as the 09 HRC but then thought whats the point of building a unique bike then painting it the same as everyone else's!!!!
So a one off design is needed, I still want to go with the rec, white and blue HRC theme.
I just came up with this and need feed back, it's expensive to get a full paint job so I want it right, I'll be adding all the companies logo's that helped with services or parts while building the bike.

Re: New paint?
I like that cabbie.
How about doing the top fairing the same as the mids instead of just going round the light unit?
Would the red & blue be painted or are going to opt for vinyl mate?

Re: New paint?
Rather like that Cabbie.
Is that something Alsieboy can help with on the old Photoshop?
Like you say paint is expensive and a bugger if you have to rework!

Re: New paint?
The red and blue round the headlight looks like a bullseye target, what about a red and blue stripes running front to back along top of tank. seat unit, and flashes across bottom fairing panel.

Re: New paint?
looks like you ran out of ideas when you got to the belly pan!
hows about a WSB style angled black bellypan...with sponsor decals in there
would also make the angles work better if the angles match.

Re: New paint?
Thanks bro, I like how clean this looks
So came up with this, once the company logos go on etc I think it'll look well nice (the strips on the tank and belly will be the HRC logo)

[quote="cabbie"]Thanks bro, I like how clean this looks
This looks well cool to me.
Less is more......... if ya kno wot I mean.
White seems to be the new 'Black'.
This work well for me coz the two stripes butt up together.
ie no white in between the red and blue.
Just my opinion tho

Re: New paint?
I like this colour scheme mate how about putting a HCR line going from the front middle of the fairing & then follow it across the top of the tank & seat, & maybe also the mudgaurd too?
Here's a quick little mock up I made

Yea very Retro...love it....80's are back..where's me shell suit..
No seriously..like it alot, bin staring at it for a couple of hours....would have some awesome street presence...I personally would bring the retro look upto date with perhaps metallic colours instead of solid ones..
