You going on the Mayday run?
PS the GPZ thing is ugly
That's no threat Cabbie, that'll just encourage me to leave it so you do come round, your do a much better job than me!
Mayday is a definite as long as it's not raining, just can't decide weather to take the Ninja or the XR?
The GPZ is just a quick money spinner mate and to use for commuting for a short while, infact it's already up for sale as from yesterday!!!

I'd have kept it, but then I'm a shortarse.
Looks a nice find; hope it goes to a considerate owner.

That's the main problem with it yammydave, i'm just under 6ft and weigh over 16 stone, when i get on this Ninja it disappears up me arse!
I hope it goes to a good home too, the past 3 owners have obviously cherished this bike, when i first see it i couldn't believe it was almost 25yrs old.

Re: My RRW Project
the GPz was awesome when it first came out.
redifined the middle weight market in the same way that the CBR6 did later on. As a school kid it was a poster on my wall... I waited years to ride one...then I did...

How right you are mate but (as you know) they handle quite well (for their age) and they have a great little motor for use in the city and built up areas, it's just a shame their so small in size because i'd definitely keep it for commuting if it was a bit bigger.

Yeah I'm just a sucker for the old shite.
I keep looking at Z650s (had 3) and though I realise just how totally inadequate it would be now, can't help myself.

Re: My RRW Project
Well can you Adam and Eve it, i've actually managed to get some money together and the last few bits for my Blade!
I got my wheels back from the sprayer who done a wicked job and got my tyres fitted yesterday. The new air filter, iridium plugs, Dzus fairing fixings and pimpy grips are all on their way so with luck and a fair wind it could be up and running by next weekend. Already been sweet talking Masterblade and the guru is gonna cast an eye over it Tues/Weds.... Fingers crossed

Re: My RRW Project
Cheers lads, it is a great feeling when you hear it come it life, i have to thank Masterblader again, without him here it wouldn't have happened.
It's not quite finished, it's only a handful of silly little things now like re-bleeding the brakes putting in all new fluids (brake, oil, coolant, water) then putting the last few cosmetics on and that's about it.
The rest of the bits i can do while it's complete like rear sets and carbon/billet pimpy bits.
