The skin is still going on but I had to bond it to the tank & I wanted a nice tight fit, plus it's nice to know its in good shape underneath

Re: My 94 Streetfighter Project
I've also been busy making the seat....
Here's the template I cut out of cardboard
Then after a few coats of fibreglass I drilled some holes to fit some fixing bolts
Then laid some more fibreglass over the top
This is what it looks like underneath
When that set it pulled the curve tighter so I cut it & adjusted the angle & re glassed it again, its all good now, just got to give it a final sanding down to iron out any bump & then I can start fitting the foam & leather!
& here is Buster the pup I bought a few weeks ago, he's a bulldog /staffie cross & is growing loads & eating me out of house & home

Re: My 94 Streetfighter Project
Did a bit more work on the seat today, I sanded it down to smooth the bumps out
I wasn't happy with the finish so I added a bit of filler & then sanded it back down again & cleaned it up
I then gave the seat & foam a good coat of glue
Whilst I was waitin for the glue to set I noticed the lovely MCN babes & thought it rude not to share!
I then laid the foam on the seat & weighted it & left it to set

Thanks mate! Nothing like letting you creative juices flow!
I think it'll be quite comfy, it was ok just being sat on the bare seat so it should be really nice with the seat fitted

Looking like a nice job griz.I need to extend mine about an inch at the front.Any idea if fibreglass will stick to the standard plastic base at all. What's the fibreglass like to staple to?Nice pup by the way.

Thanks mate! Yeah it should be fine, just make sure you rough up the plastics your building onto, I'm not sure what it's like to staple to, I read that some people staple to it so you must be able to, you'll probably need to use a good strong staple gun though.

Cheers mate & no I've no plans on remodeling the pup!

Yeah it looks a bit more like a seat now doesn't it! I've got a load of imitation black leather I'm gonna use, I would have liked to have found a match on the red of the frame work but had no luck so it's gonna be black.

Bugger that!
Thanks mate, best of luck doing yours!
I'm just trying to get the cover to glue to the foam properly as it keeps standing off the steap curve near the back of the seat, I may have to try pealing it off & starting again
It's not done yet but you get the idea

What adhesive are you using? I use a permanent spray mount which seems to do the trick.
lookin good tho.

Re: My 94 Streetfighter Project
Thanks guys, I'e not finished the seay yet, It'll look a lot better when I'm done for sure.
The digital gear indicator arrived from the neitherlands yesterday, It only cost me 25 euro's on ebay!
& here are the punisher decals that i'll be fitting, I'm also going to get some punsher phrases to go on the frame too.
This one is going on the tank
& this one will be going either on top or on the underneath of the seat, I'm not sure yet...

Yeah that would be interesting to see, I guess I may have to angle mine when I fit it so it doesn't shine to bright in my eye's as that would be a pain!

My pipework has come back from being ceramic coated & they look amazing!!!
My forks have been anodized black too & I'm now waiting for them to rebuild them so I can pick them up.
Here's some before & after pics of the pipework, I can't wait to get them fitted!
