Just found this while sorting pics
Found this while sorting my pics on the PC Nec Bike show 2007
Streetfighters are not really my thing, each to their own I suppose, but even though I say that, I can still appreciate the time and effort that goes into building one and inginuity involved in overcomming obstacles caused by fitting parts that were never meant to fit!
Anyway I digress, this really caught my eye and looked great, it made a change from skulls and such...plus it made me smile

Yes it has, I think it was a VFR rear arm, but you never know, the airbrushing was outstanding, wish I had taken a pic of the other side, but at this point the family was fed up so took a passing pic.

Re: Just found this while sorting pics
ahhh the holy grail....
the engineering on that thing is amazing.
the guy who built it is a retired engineer ( retired early cos I think he sold his company!)
theres no stem bolt in the top of the yokes, theres a temp guage on the handlebars, bespoke switches. all wiring inside the bars.
the rear seat unit is supported by a single billet bracket that has the wiring running thru it.
flip down reg plate ( reg is 10M TT !)
theres lots of other really cute engineering stuff in ther too.
look at the rearsets...the frame has been plugged and polished...the rearset doesn't have 2 holes...just the one.
its usually at shows...if you get time take a look...you just keep seeing more and more things.
brilliant!

That's exactly my point, there not my thing but to thr trained eye, or if look closer the work that people put into these bikes is amazing, long gone are the days of ripping the fairing off sticking a round headlight on the front and calling it a streetfighter, now they are amazing projects.
