Yes it's way better than the blade.
It makes a change to ride a bike i don't have to fight throught the corners.
It's got Dunlop tyres (eeeww ) I don't like 'em not much feel They'll do for now tho.

Re: The err G *cough* ixer...
looks nice Dave not sure about the white hugger but apart from that looks good.
I went from Dunlops (*shivers*) to pirelli's, to pilot sport, now on pirellis again and they have never let go, pilot sport did a few times on the rear. Thinking of trying the pilot powers next double change.

I know what you mean i'm not getting a lot of feel from the Dunlops but they're not scrubbed in properly yet..
They'll do for now, the dealer swears by 'em but i've just never liked them i had a set on the blade for about a week. I see them going as i'm a pirelli man myself.

you'de be surprised actually, no more than any colour wheels, just they look worse than other colours when dirty.
Dave, Mr Sheen is your friend for the wheels, it shifts everything without being abrasive and without damaging paint. If its got kevlar pads change for sintered, I know you all know the effective braking reasons for this, but kevlar produce more dust, which with white wheels is not good lol
Hope you enjoy it Dave ;-)

Me dads k5 came had bt014s as standard and i have to say gave me enough grip to sling the little 750 around any bend nicely until he seen how little i was making his W*nker lines lol funny thing is he dont let me ride it anymore

But a lot between mine & the blade mate..
The blade seems slow & gutless which is saying something coz a few can vouch the 'ol beast was'nt slow..
& Did you say race?

the blade 'seems' slow and gutless because its sooo easy to ride, you dont realise how fast your going, the gixxer 'seems' quicker because of the extra work your subconsciously putting in, i found gixers all 'front end'... more of a race bike and certainly no all-rounder.
however, enjoy it dave

Did someone say race,
Having ridden a 750, i dont think there alot in it.
But il bring the rrv to this, be intresting to see the difference between the bikes.

Sounds like its on then. A pal of mine has the 750K5 which just has the edge on me, but he's a skinny get, so if I lose a bit weight and Dave keeps up with his healthy diet.....

It's a good point mate & you're probably right i do have to put a bit more into riding the gixer which seems to make it more fun..
Theres a serious lack of engine braking compared to the Honda which has caught me out a couple of times..
Handling is spot on just point it & away you go...
