Sat in the Hawthorn pub in Greeba. Had lunch and a few Guinness waiting for the rain to stop and the weather to improve for the practice later on

Re: 'Booked it, Packed it, Rode Off'
Rode to Jurby today on some cracking back roads. Then onto The Laxey Wheel at Laxey and had lunch, sat outside.
Went on to visit Steve Hislops statue monument over looking Douglas seafront and now in the Creg Ny Baa pub for tea and tonight's practice

Re: 'Booked it, Packed it, Rode Off'
Now then
Watched practice from Sulby Glen Hotel on the Sulby straight
last night, unbelievable. The speed they go past so close to you is magic, I've
got some vid i'll post when I get back
Met Salty from Cornwall and his
Mrs sat outside the hotel. He doesn't get on much but is there.
Did
another two laps early this morning. Had a good run through the first lap
checking for damp patches over the mountain then the second lap I had a good
race with a ZX10R. I passed him as he eased up when he saw another bike sat
behind a copper. I kept it nailed at about a ton, on the wrong side of the road,
black visor on and shot past them all, brilliant The two bikes then grew some balls and
past the copper following me

Re: 'Booked it, Packed it, Rode Off'
OMG...just got back from the TT, the weather turned out to be great (except the cold nights and wind last week) and although the island has changed loads since the last trip (for the worse) it was still a cracking trip.
Way too many idiots in cars going over the mountain running motorbikes off the rd !! But you gotta love the mountain.
I also had a police range rover to overtake, but thought nothing of passing it at 120 on the wrong side of the rd......! It's amazing to think I didn't break a speed limit anywhere and had so much fun.
I got a picture of a police man on the wheelie machine in Douglas doing a good job.
