98 blade track bike
Have been on the look out for a track bike for a bit now as I don't want to throw the hrc down the track.
So went to see a race prepped 98 blade this morning.
The fella raced in the msv trackday trophy on it the last 2 years.
Got the 17" front wheel and Lots of spares some of which will be going for sale.
Should be fun as I won't be worried about crashing it or anything.
Pick it up tomorrow so will start giving it a clean and personalise it then.

Re: 98 blade track bike
Nice 1 mate.
See how it goes on the 17" then make your mind up about the front wheel. Does it change the steering very much so as to make much of a difference?

It comes down to how easily you can get the 16" tyres.
Bridgestone list the s20 and bt016 in 130 70 16, if you can find any to buy is another matter.
With the 17" you will get supercorsa's and racetecs all day long (i have a set) usually about £60 a set scrubbed.
The bt003 is also readily available, i got 2 rears and a front for £180 they are new.
Choice is yours.
