straight in...needs a spacer and maybe a top shock mount..the blade one is offset

other than that...jobs a goodun

might go 280/300 rear section and 160 front...dunno yet tho.

I would love to do a 280/300 rear but I think the most I'll go with is a 240 as anything bigger really throws things off but they sure do look mean eyebrow

I've got a 210 on mine & it looks good & lines up well & should still give me fast-ish turning.

I do like the fat fronts too but I can't afford it right now.

I'm looking forward to seeing how you get on eyebrow

have given in....have arranged for the Spondon to be sent to borstal..

well,....Ipswich...

A buddy of mine is sorting the niggly jobs, and making sure the rolling chassis is straight etc ( fitting wheels etc that weren't on the originlal bike)

while its there...its having the turbo plumed in

then its off to Glasgow for a custom Plenum, wastegate etc..

then back to me..then off to a turbo specialist for set up

then back to me...

so

have spent most of the day buying Blackbird bits n peices!!

Spondon is away at borstal..

so had an hour on the bird today

swingarm mount is central...but its offset on a blade

Ive got a blackbird linkage and a blade shock..the linkage triangles are double the thickness of the blade one!...must be expecting more power rofl

was thinking I needed a special shock mount making.

then had a brainwave whilst eating my curry
...just drill another hole in the frame eyebrow

got the cbr900 front end..slots in nice! (cheers Cabbie! clap

)

and bought a subframe to be a starting point rather than wait to get one made.

was gonna put the wheels in...but it was too f**kin heavy to lift on my own Embarassed

....will get em in somehow next time.

then played with a couple of cbr6 seat units I've got lying around

dunno weither to go clip-ons or risers and drag bars...will decide later

I usually use Renthal Ultra lows.....but there are plenty of fighters around with clip ons too.
