My CRR1000RR-05
Thought i start a post on mine because i'm gonna be modifying it to an extent and i'll have somewhere to post pictures each time i fit a new part...
As some of you may know the bike started out in 100% standard trim when i got it

The first thing i did was put an R&G tail tidy kit on it and get the back end lookin nice with a small plate and mini carbon indicators

Next on my list of things was to get rid of the clear screen and replace it with a dark smoked screen and put my Wildbill signature on supplied by Cabbie.

Then today another small modification by fitting black headlight protectors

Hopefully plenty more goodies to come, slowly but surly

Re: My CRR1000RR-05
Thanks for the comments, your right about the black screen & light protectors Deathace, what a difference for a mere £37.95 for the lot eh!
Thanks for the offer of the Yoshi RS-5 Kaiser but i've got something in the pipeline for the rear end
It's gonna go quiet on this thread for a while because i'm gonna have to work my nuts off now to get the rest of the parts and the item from the US will probably take 2-3 weeks to get here so i'll just have to be patient.

No sweat - it's now surplus to requirements after DA & FBF managed to hypnotise me in to buying a full akra system

Look into my eyes not around my eyes direct into my eyes, your under. Kaiser you will buy that Akra full system as it is a necessary improvement to your bike before its an impact on your wallet.

I presume your talking about the "pack" of new R1's that the black blades can just about see in the distance

Re: My CRR1000RR-05
Ok... today some more little odds'n'sods turned up for the blade but like a fool i got the wrong size, i thought i'd give it a go anyway because they was only about 1" bigger than the origional decals that i peeled off but now their on the bike they look a bit too big...

The gold tank stickers were waaaaay to big so i didn't even bother with those
Ordered new ones a while ago so i may have em by the weekend.

Re: My CRR1000RR-05
I quite like the large stickers on the tail piece, are you not just in shock because they're so much bigger?
I bet if you stand right back they look great ?
Don't think you should have large on the tank though, that'd definatley be too much.

We'll it's red & black so probably does. LooRR's you in to a false sense of slowness but in actual fact it is the only colour to keep up with Captain Kirk

Na... I wheeled it outside and looked at it from half way down the garden and it just don't look right, it probably don't look any different to the untrained eye but they look maahoosive to me,
the others are in the post now so 1000RR billboard stickers are coming off
And they cover too much of the best colour

Re: My CRR1000RR-05
Got the tank decals done toady after spending about an hour with a hairdryer trying to soften the adhesive on the origional decals, the bloody things just kept breaking as i tried to peel them off, didn't help that it was -40 degrees (a slight exaggeration) in the garage.

Got my first bit of carbon turning up this week (hopefully), looking forward to fitting that, can't wait!
