Just bought 1996 Fireblade saying Hello I am getting on a bit at 47 but have always wanted a Blade since my brother bought one a few years back, and I ran it in for him Live Nr Bedford Smile

Hi had an RG 500 a few years back and an R1 for a short while , but have not owned a Bike in a few years although have ridden a few friends various Machines

Hi i'm also a new member, don't worry about the age thing, i've also always wanted a Blade and i bought one about 6 weeks ago for my 50th Birthday present i've just joined today and finding it a bit difficult to get around the site.
I've been riding since i was 14 and have had many bikes but must admit i just love my Fireblade, i have a Firestorm that i've owned for 6 years which i also love riding.
I've never been a member of any sort of motorcycle club or forum before so i'm looking forward to see how it goes and hopefully get some useful reliable information.

Thanks to all who posted I feel very welcome with my Fireblade on this forum,
Have ridden it to work the last week and totally enjoyed it Only near disaster had the fuel tap on Reserve instesd of On and all but ran out of fuel Joining the A1 Just got to a garage, Wont make that error again!!!!!!!!

Welcome KP!! I used to live in Bedford and I know Shefford very well as that's where I still have family! Some OK roads out that way so hope you enjoy the Blade and I think you'll love the site.....
