Hi all
hi, sorry to all for posting before introducing myself. found the forum when i was looking for help to sort my blade, bought it in a hurry after not having a bike for a while and jumped on it and rode away. mechanically its sound just a few faults to be rectified, from a distance it looks ok, got the wrong fairing for year and been messed about with on most of the fixing points. its a '95 rrs i think, anyone knowing where i can get the correct fairings and bits pls let me know
as u can see its got a kwaka tail piece, just tried to get it through mot and the fairing is too close disrupting the handlebars. does this look like the correct fairing to you lot any help thanxs

Re: Hi all
Hi and welcome to the forum.
You say its a RRS 95 model dressed up to look like a 99 model. It also has later forks, so it might be this machine had a big off rather than the owner trying to upgrade for looks.
Plenty of info: here just shout.

Re: Hi all
That does look like a RRW fairing mate. May know someone that will buy it off you when you find the right one. Don't modify it , sell it!

Re: Hi all
The RRW/X bodywork sits 5mm higher and 10mm wider than previous models. If the clip ons are the original RRS than you would have got the clearence as clip ons from 96 on were 10 mm higher, either way you should have got the clearence unless the front fairing bracket had taken a knock.
No comment on fightering YUK.

Re: Hi all
Problem is been looking into pricing for original fairings, and basically cant afford it, and as it is just now looks plain ugly from the cockpit, didnt really want to go the fighter route or would have bought a naked to start with. Just want it to look nice lol. by fightering i dont mean the whole hog squished up tail and all that just a enduro light unit and set of risers or somehting, to get me arround the problems with mot next year if i still have it by then
