Hello
Hi all,
Just joined, no bike at present, due to do DAS in August. Was hoping to get a early blade as a first bike, but to many peeps keep saying No, so looks like i'll be going the cheap and cheerful 600 route for 6 months.
Rob.

Re: Hello
Hi Rob and welcome to the site!! I had a 400 as a 1st bike (VFR400 NC30) and that was a good intro, then got my Blade.... It did scare me a little when I 1st took it out as it's awesomely fast so might not be a bad idea to 'break yourself in gently' with a 600
Good to have you on board and good luck with the DAS in August - you'll have to keep us posted!!
James.

Re: Hello
Greetings Rob and welcome to the forum
A 600 will be a good stepping stone towards a blade.
Good luck in August

Re: Hello
Good luck with the test mate.
I went straight onto a forestorm from DAS, not a bad move, the blade I have now feels nimble and more powerful, but the storm was a laugh a minute and fairly pokey. V Twin grunt, Loud as hell with race cans and good for 150 mph. Cheaper than many 600's to insure too as it is seen as a sports tourer.
