My 97 RRV

This is the only pic I have of it to date
Think it was when the prev owner bought it, because it didn't look like this when I went to pick it up
I'm in the process of a deep clean so will take some pics then
Its not a minter, but I got it for a very good price and will make get it looking much more presentable than it does now
Prev owner just wasnt into cleaning his bikes....mech it is sound
It has S/S down pipes so got a carbon quil end can and carbon rear hugger on the way, want to tidy the back end up with an undertray and tail tidy if poss
Also put a 17" on the front.....yes I know some are against this, but it gives me much more tyre options

Little scuff on the top fairing but nothing that cant be sorted. Enjoy!!!

Yes its had a very low speed drop on the right, scuffs and a crack in the side panel too

I'll be keeping my eye open for panels, but its not effecting the ride etc

Regarding the undertray when I first decided to get one for my RRN I got one of those cheapo fibreglass ones.... shocking quality & ended up in the wheelie bin!
Its worth paying the extra for a decent quality plastic item from Pyramid, Powerbronze or Skidmarx.

On a positive note, that'll cheer you Masterblader.
I sold a few parts on Ebay this last week to help fund my new fairing nose cone for the RRP.
One of the buyer's was from Donny as well so he nipped round for his purchase yesterday.
Seems he has just landed himself a rusty J plate that is HPI clear and all original (just a mess) for £550, that's been stood for a couple of years under a carport.
Original screen, indicators, uncut rear guard, black wheels, exhaust, no carbon frame covers, no ploished frame, no dents on the frame spars, his plan is to restore it to former glory!
Fortunately I'd not yet been able to bring myself to change the colour of that front mudguard I got from you Duncan, so he was delighted when I resold it to him.
Looking forward to seeing his bike and the progress he makes.
Expect he'll be on the forum soon enough anyway and though mainly into cars, the guy is certainly clued up.

Are those Delvic top fairings plastic or fibreglass. Seen them on ebay about £110, obviously unpainted though.

No Dunc, genuine Honda in the right paint for his code and with decals to boot!

Know what you mean buddy, I've put a load of stuff on Ebay, including my VF750 to finance finishing the RRP, but even so Mandy's giving me some stick about having two Blades.
Work has really dropped off with nothing coming in from domestic customers, and my commercial customers take what seems forever to pay.
Still so long as I've got a roof over my head, a shirt on my back and food on the table, I can't complain!

Can only find them in the states

Got mine from ebay, wasnt from the States though. There was somebody selling some blue ones the other week but cant find any on there at the moment.

Try looking on moto-cross accessorie websites, pretty sure that where they originated from mate.

i had an RRV same colour mate, nice with a bit tuning, shook its head a bit tho so i reckon a 17" front wheel is the way to go
