Just put the blade away for winter (needs a new rear tyre, not much point replacing it only to sit in the bikesafe for 4 months) now riding the gixa when the weathers fitting through the winter. My bike currently has two 4 1/2" Bates headlamps bolted to teardrop brackets onto RRW 45mm RWU forks, so I cant bolt em to my 50mm 929 USDs. The chrome is falling off the lamps as well. I have standard Blade clocks protected by a speed triple binnacle all bolted to the underside of the top yoke. I wanna go for a completely different look, without breaking the bank. Not that keen ... I bought these for a bmx, and also to see if they'd go on the blade. Not necessarily everyone's cup of tea but they are pretty cool - especially if your in to fightering. Sadly that was all i had time for this weekend as there just is not enough hours in the day! I did get to fly a helicopter though so that did beat fiddling with the bike just! What ... Got a 2008 Blade in CG red, a very early Feb08 model. 1st owner hardly used it, I got it in Mayu 2009 with only 1500m on it, but the previous owner was OCD about cleaning and it was better than new! Sadly I haven't maintained that level of fastidiousness!! Now got over 6000 following a July trip to St Tropez with a couple of mates - did 2500m with a slipping clutch ...
